We find that 85% of drivers have personal mobility devices, with almost half of them being smartphones – a number that’s increasing everyday. This session is for all fleets that are looking at adding handheld devices – smartphones, rugged handhelds and tablets – to their operations.

This session is designed for XataNet, Turnpike, MobileMax and XRS customers with an emphasis on device selection, the trucking application ecosystem, trends within the wireless and transportation industry, and tangible ways that your fleet can benefit from adopting mobile technology.
The International Fuel Tax Agreement impacts all fleets that cross state lines – and states are looking to collect the right revenue all the time. With increased enforcement and more audits happening every day, fleets need automation to live up to IFTA standards. In this session, we will talk about how IFTA requirements are addressed with XRS products and how to survive an IFTA audit.

Consistently we hear from fleets that finding and retaining drivers is one of the most difficult tasks. Industry turnover in over-the-road fleets is often over 100% annually, and the cost to hire and train a driver ranges between $5,000 and $8,000. However, utilizing technology that is in a driver’s hands, fleets can do something about finding, training and keeping the best drivers. In this session, we will talk with a driver on how to make trucking easier for a driver, with a focus on how technology can be utilized.
While the Hours of Service rules changed on July 1, 2013, XRS still fields many questions on the changes. This session takes a deep dive into current HOS laws with a special emphasis on 395.3 and how XRS solutions can help fleets deal with these changes.

This session is designed for XataNet, Turnpike and XRS users who are day-to-day users that work with dispatchers or drivers and want a more comprehensive view into the new regulations.
